TIP-FAO Partnership: The Global-hub on Indigenous Food Systems

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the UN has launched the Global-hub on Indigenous Food Systems on September 28, 2020 with the agenda of operationalizing a food systems approach to accelerate the 2030 Agenda.

The work programme of this initiative include Knowledge Bearers’ Platform which will involve different stakeholders working on traditional and indigenous food systems, a collectively generated online database, technical advice on indigenous peoples’ food systems and traditional knowledge, and creation of synergies.

TIP is proud to be one of the partners collaborating with the Global-hub working towards filling the gaps by coordinating and conducting various initiatives with partner communities.
