Sohra Government College, Sohra, in collaboration with NESFAS, Shillong, organised a one-day international workshop on Career Guidance and Counseling on April 22, 2022, on the theme “Indigenous Peoples’ Food Systems- A game changing solution in the context of climate change”. Research and documentation of indigenous knowledge: Workshop by Dr. Tara Douglas
A workshop on Researching and Documenting the indigenous knowledge of the Khasi Traditions of Meghalaya was conducted from the 8th to the 12th of November, 2021; it was facilitated by Dr. Tara Douglas with 17 participants including community fellows, community facilitators and students from St. Anthony’s College and Assam Don Bosco University. Virtual district level workshops on Micro Nutrient Rich and Climate Resilient Crop Species concludes
NESFAS conducted four District Level Technical Workshops on Micro-Nutrient Rich and Climate Resilient Crop Species. The workshops provided a general overview of some of the developments that have been achieved from the “No One Shall be Left Behind Initiative: Biodiversity for Food, Nutrition and Energy Security Meghalaya and Nagaland, North East India” funded by the REC which spanned from 2018-2021.
